SATA Settings
Use this window to control embedded SATA ports settings.
NOTE: This help page may include information about features and values not supported by your system. Server Administrator only displays the features and values that are supported on your system.

NOTE: For more details on user privilege levels, see "Privilege Levels in the Server Administrator GUI."
NOTE: Based on available hardware, dependencies may exist between the various attributes for settings. For example, setting a attribute value may change the state of the dependent attributes to non-editable or editable, as the case may be. For example, changing the Embedded SATA settings to ATA Mode allows you to configure the individual port settings. Setting the Embedded SATA to any other mode does not allow you to configure the ports.

Embedded SATA
Allows the Embedded SATA to be set to Off, ATA, AHCI, or RAID Mode.

Port A, port B, Port C, Port D, Port E, and Port F
Sets the drive type of the selected device. When the Embedded SATA setting is ATA Mode, set this field to Auto to enable BIOS support for the device. Select Off to turn off BIOS support for the device. When the Embedded SATA setting is AHCI Mode or RAID Mode, BIOS always enables support for the device.

Model
Displays the drive model of the selected device.

Drive Type
Indicates type of device attached to this SATA port.

Capacity
Displays the total capacity of a hard-disk drive. This field is undefined for removable-media devices such as optical drives.

Other Window Controls
Print Prints a copy of the open window to your default printer.
Export Saves a text file containing the contents of this window (the values of each data field separated by a customizable delimiter) to a destination you specify.
E-mail E-mails the contents of this window to your designated recipient. See the Server Administrator User's Guide for instructions about configuring your Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server.
Refresh Updates the screen with latest information.
Help Displays the online help for this page.

Apply Saves a record of the values that you have entered or selected for each field.
