Hardware Performance Information
Use the Hardware Performance window to view the status and cause of the degradation of your system's performance.
NOTE: This help page may
include information about features not supported by your system. Server
Administrator only displays the features that are supported on your
system.
Hardware Performance
Probe Name | Probe name for the hardware. |
---|---|
Status | Indicates the status of the system's performance. Can be Degraded or Normal . |
Cause | Indicates the cause of the performance degradation. When the cause is N/A, it means that the system's performance is normal and nodegradation has taken place. |
Possible Causes Of System Degradation And Action To Be Taken
The table below describe the causes of system degradation and the action to be performed in these cases.
Cause | What This Means | Action to be Performed |
Insufficient Power Capacity | Your system is connected to one or more power supply sources that have low voltage. |
|
User Configuration | The power consumption of your system is high and the Power Reduction setting is enabled resulting in degraded performance. | Set
the appropriate threshold value for the current configuration.
For information on the current configurations, see the Hardware Owner's
Manual of your system. NOTE: The power consumption
of your system may vary with the state of the processor, peripherals
(memory, storage devices, additional cards, and so on) and their usage. |
Unknown Reason | The performance of your system has degraded due to an unknown reason. | Check your system after some time. The system may recover. |
Others | The performance of your system has degraded due to indefinable reason. | Check your system after some time. The system may recover. |
