Edit Temperature Probes
Status
Indicates whether the event type for this probe is Normal/OK, Warning/Noncritical, or Critical/Failure.
Reading
Displays a snapshot of temperature measured by the probe at a
given time.
Minimum Failure
Displays the lowest acceptable temperature that is required for
system operation. Values that fall below this temperature result in
critical/failure events.
Maximum Failure
Displays the highest acceptable temperature that is required for
system operation. Values that exceed this temperature result in critical/failure
events.
Threshold Settings
Set to Default
Sets the minimum and maximum temperature value for a warning event
at the default value.
Set to Values
Allows power users and administrators to specify a minimum and
maximum value for temperatures that are to trigger a warning event.
Minimum Warning Threshold
Displays the lowest acceptable temperature that is recommended
for this system component. Values that fall below this temperature
level result in warning events.
Maximum Warning Threshold
Displays the highest acceptable temperature that is recommended
for this system component. Values that exceed this temperature result
in warning events.
